Wednesday, May 6th, I had an early morning inguinal hernia correction surgery (the laproscopic form) and I’ve been on Vicadin for the pain for the last couple days… At first, it took me a while to urinate because it was quite painful and I couldn’t get a solid stream going, just small painful squirts. After a day or two, I have my urine stream back and i feel better about urinating, but I haven’t had a bowel movement since Tuesday and think my painkillers, combined with the sensitivity of my groin area, has caused me to have constipation. Any advice, I haven’t had a bowel movement since Tuesday I believe and now it’s Friday. I feel pressure from the bowel, but I can’t get a solid piece to come out.
