I have severe constipation and my doctor is recommending that I have a bowel resection. I’m 32 and scared of this surgery because it might require me to have a temporary colostomy. I have been dealing with severe constipation since a child so I’m ready to remedy myself of this problem. It has caused me to be sluggish, tired and severe stomach distention. Only people that have had this surgery or know someone answer this question please. Thanks.
