I’ve read that 90% are satisfied with this surgery. I have chronic constipation. I am hypothyroid which is probably what it’s from. It’s been 3 years of bad pain..mostly bloating. I’m interested in other people’s experience with this surgery. It will be an open proecedure. He said in order to save the omentum. Not sure why that is….anyone know? Did you have to be on liquids for a long time after? I’ve gained some weight since being constipated the past 3 years. I’m hoping with things moving through that I’ll lose…anyone else have experience with that? Thanks for anyone with any opinions…I appreciate so many people willing to share online.
