Ok so I just had surgery for hyperthyroidism and I had my thyroid gland taken out. During my whole process with this ive had horrible constipation. I was wondering if anybody with this similar condition could help me find out if the constipation will subside after the surgery? Because it has ruined my digestive system. And im only 18 and not ready to have any future or present colonoscopys or anything like that. If anybody could help me thatd be greatly appreciated.
I dont have regular day to day bowel movements. Also I often have to take supplements to help but they don’t always work.
