I’m on a liquid diet because I’m preparing for surgery in 2 days. I had a barium swallow 3 days ago. Now i feel this urge to do a bowel movement but I can’t. I think the barium is trying to come out but since I’m only doing liquids there is nothing to come out. I feel this pressure to go but when I do it hurts really bad to push it out. I tried laxative tea and it didn’t work.
